Customer Accounts Update

Checking out just got a whole lot easier!

Hi everyone! At Ottawa Team Threads, we’re always looking for ways to make things a bit smoother for you. That’s why we’re so excited to share that we’ve officially upgraded to a brand-new account system for our store.

This update is all about making it faster, safer, and way easier for you to manage your gear and your account information.

So, what’s the scoop?

The biggest change you’ll notice is how you log in. We’re saying goodbye to traditional passwords and moving to a "passwordless" system that’s much more secure.

• Forget about passwords: Instead of trying to remember another random password, just pop in your email address. We’ll send a quick 6-digit code to your email inbox (Check your spam folder just in case you don't see it in your inbox). Type it in (or Copy/Paste), and you’re good to go!

• Do it yourself (the easy way): Your new dashboard has some pretty cool perks. Now you can:

  • Save your payment methods to breeze through checkout next time.

  • Use the "Buy Again" button to grab more of your favorites in a click.

  • With new customer accounts, you can now cancel eligible orders directly from your account page, no need to contact us.

  • You can now leave a review for your purchases directly from your account, sharing your feedback has never been easier.

• You’re in control: Need to change your name or email on your profile? You can do that whenever you want, right in your settings.

What do you need to do?

Actually... absolutely nothing!

We’ve handled all the heavy lifting behind the scenes so this transition is totally stress-free for you.

1. Everything’s moved over: Your account has already been automatically transferred to the new system.

2. Your info is safe: Don't worry—your order history, saved addresses, and all your account details are exactly where you left them.

3. Your next visit: Next time you want to log in, just use your email like usual. You’ll just get that quick verification code sent to your email inbox instead of having to type a password.

A few more perks

There are also some nice "under-the-hood" improvements that make browsing our shop even better:

• Stay logged in longer: You’ll stay signed in for up to 90 days now. That means you won't have to log back in every single time you want to check out a new drop.

• A consistent look: The account pages now match our store perfectly, so everything looks and feels the same from start to finish.

• Old links still work: If you have any old account pages bookmarked, don't sweat it. They’ll automatically send you to the right place.
